7:42 pm - fallin' for the trick vegetarian single mom give a little kick
today was beautiful, overall.

GUESS WHO WERE CHOSEN TODAY TO BE KING AND QUEEN OF THE MADRIGAL DINNER?!

you guessed it, your favorite deuce, dave denton and jessica pruitt.
there is definitely no one else that i would rather be paired with. yay.

you just gotta have faith and believe: "night of the living dead" will turn out fantastic. come to the nicholson center oct 21, 22, 24 or 25 at 7 to see the zombies that david, andrea and i have created with our masterful skill and artistry.
plus chelsea and whitney will be there, in all their splendor and un-deadness. and who would want to miss a chance to see those two lovely ladies?

life is looking up. i'm stressed out, but things are gonna pull together. college, theatre, saving, advanced chemistry grades, all state, the whole lot of it.

here's to the near and far future.

the show was pretty much like walking right into myspace.com.

but thank God for good friends. and metal spike. and good looking boys.

got a c.t. scan done today, and the guy asked me to take out my earings. i had some metal plugs in, and i took those out, but after the thing was over, i couldn't get them back in =(.
so i broke a pencil in half and put a half in each lobe. and proceeded to really freak out the ladies at the x-ray counter when one of them goes, "child, is that a pencil in your ear?!"

i need to email/call will.

i have no money! and i never work!

We fight.
We're sending out sabres through the satellites all night,
through the AP wires and security networks.
Give light to your fiberoptic head.
It's a mess of cables.
It's a balled up fist,
and it's angry at the concept of technology drift.

you're too feeble for my lightning bolt.

je suis en baton rouge.
went to my great uncle gaylon's funeral today. there's something about seeing the body of someone you once knew, talked to, interacted with. just the body in a coffin and nothing else.

my 5 year old cousin su yung from seoul, korea is coming to baton rouge to visit this may. i'm very excited!
i have also decided that i'm going to korea not this summer but the next. my aunt uncle and cousin go every two years to visit my aunt's family, and aunt yon sun has invited me every time, but i haven't been able to raise the money. this time....i'm doin it.

dance party?

furthermore, hats off to you, cory nibblet: thank you.

this was a very vague and abstract post. i may or may not be sorry. :P

Good sense, innocence, cripplin' and kind.
Dead kings, many things I can't define.
Oh Cajun spice, sweats and blushers your mind.
Incense and peppermints, the color of thyme.

Who cares what games we choose?
Little to win, but nothing to lose.

Incense and peppermints, meaningless nouns.
Turn on, tune in, turn your eyes around.
Look at yourself, look at yourself,
Yeah, yeah.
Look at yourself, look at yourself,
Yeah, yeah,
Yeah, yeah.

Tune-a by the cockeyed world in two.
Throw your pride to one side, It's the least you can do.
Beatniks and politics, nothing is new.
A yardstick for lunatics, one point of view.

Who cares what games we choose?
Little to win, but nothing to lose.

Good sense, innocence, crippled and kind.
Dead kings and many things I can't define.
Oh Cajun spice, sweats and blushers your mind.
Incense and peppermints, the color of thyme.

Who cares what games we choose?
Little to win, but nothing to lose.

Incense, peppermints, incense, peppermints.

1. Think of a word you would use to describe me.
2. Go to Google Image Search and search for that word.
3. Select the picture you see as most fitting, and post it as a reply.
4. Post this meme in your journal.

11:23 pm - i got to talk with my dear!!!
ok. so tonight i found this story jonathan wrote when he was in 5th grade (he used to write lots of stories when he was little), and thought it was funny.
here it is, verbatum:

"'Skunk Cabbage Legend' Jonathan Pruitt 5K

One day there was a little skunk who loved to watch gardens grow. So one day the skunk went to the store and bought some cabbage seeds. The next day the skunk planted his cabbages, 45 days after the skunk planted the seeds a cabbage grew.

Later in that week the skunk's tail landed on the cabbage and one leaf stuck to his tail and it fell off in his swampy back yard. Next spring there was a big rock that fell into the back yard right where the cabbages leaf fell and there was one of the worst smells on earth. In a few moments the skunk smelled it and though it was a lady skunk and so he ran out to see that the smell came from undergroud and so he dug and saw that there was a plant that had grown in his back yard and so he named it the skunk cabbage."

jonathan also taught me a new word he learned today:
"gagglevuck": a bunch of happy children.

i love a good little brother, don't you?
